In Last Century People were dependent on the medium ”TV Channels and Newspapers and the radio”, but over the time specially as the Internet suddenly spread over the globe much, faster than Cancer no doubt about it. Not only the way used to see and understand things has changed but after Facebook and Twitter, story has taken twist, In a way Freedom of Speech and in other words, Virtual Battle Field.
Where the three different generations gather together, there are always conflicts as well their views differ from each other, obviously they will, since last 5 years, Social Networks like Facebook, Twitter, Orkut, Friendster are being used not only for being social but Political activities, for me here’s a good example of Media talk shows, their fan pages, groups as well as Politicians fan pages,groups, now the one like me who is using the Internet since 1997 I find it pretty odd that Local and International politicians are posting their statements which no matter negative or positive effects or how good or bad impact it makes to almost those who are related to the topic,It will become the Topic of the day. where myself is concerned it is only about My country my homeland, Pakistan. Over here it seems like War Zone at times, on Yahoo Voice chat, Twitter, Facebook Fan Pages, where everyone got the freedom to post, reply, share. Since the tactics are change instead of long speeches, going each and every town, experiencing the heat of the bright sun now information is just a click away and can be accessed from smart phone as well, but nevertheless moral goal is still the same. Perhaps, still clashes happen out in cities, towns, villages, riots breaks, Politics here in Pakistan is no doubt being done as back in British ruling time when they had the policy of ” Divide and Rule” very intense worrying situation because some of your friends like some other party where as you are in favor of any other or like me none, straight and simple in favor of PAKISTAN.
The Elections are expected, which I fear won’t take place easily on expected time but the daily strikes on each other in which Youth of Pakistan is involved since they are looking forward for a good change, among which many are well aware of situation and how critical conditions are, but rest of them don’t even know jack shit, they just support fight against and fight back one of the major reason is lack of entertainment, social activities and Generation Gap, even at times it is like, it’s not about Political Party but their Belief , Faith ” Religion ” they get mad no matter you are a friend, most of the cases are abusive and there are no limits nor height of how dirty one can be. That’s where the politics is marking Bad Image as well as followers / workers are pissing over the image of their Political Leader / Party. There are something which are very difficult to find in Pakistani’s Youth “Tolerance” and no such thing as Patience in Cyberians. Myself i keep an eye on current affairs and political changes because it is about Pakistan but i avoid to play this blame game.
Further on, such activities has started on Texting on the mobile phone, I am pretty sure that Political Leaders must be aware of them but do they fail to stop their Virtual Warriors or that’s what they want? don’t know what to say. Among youngsters there’s a fire, passion to do, to prove, to be the best but instead of being together as one, showing unity and doing what so ever is possible for the betterment of Pakistan they are busy in being Cyber Activists. The Impact of it makes a difference in real life and socially when something happens on large scale but The Freedom Of Speech does not mean one Political Party is 100 Percent Right and the Other one is completely wrong, what does it takes to maintain the discipline and by showing your gentleness impressing or insulting others, In reality you are making the image worse of your leadership, There are always two ways to do one thing. These days 4 Major Parties out of 182 Registered by Election Commission are having tussle ( PPP , MQM , PML N & PTI ). Where as mostly what i have seen complain is about PTI supports / cyberians of being offensive and abusive.
I don’t see a single thing proper in Pakistan where as even The Internet and the Users, Cyberians are the Cyber Activists, Warriors they don’t protest directly Cyber Activists going to start posting, Texting, Blogging, sharing images, abusing and on Voice chat Trust me you need Headphones if you are living with family, the abusive language your going to hear, it will be one trip of hell non sense I am sure which you have never heard before crossing all the limits at times it’s like both rivals are not Pakistani but their Party’s are from different countries. Problem is it’s 1st Generation over the net who is doing political activities here in Pakistan compared to 2008 and common thing is the Platforms are same ( Facebook and Twitter ) above all what they are fighting for PAKISTAN
I request to all the readers, kindly maintain the discipline even your rival is using abusive words, trust me he is not showing any matureness, with patience and tolerance. First and final think about Pakistan and entire Pakistani nation, we all not just have to live here but Make Pakistan Proud of being the son of this soil.
